Catalan Dome at Sabarmati Riverfront

The Catalan Structure at the River Front is constructed as a space for public use. The form was designed by students of CEPT University as part of their workshop. The form was provided to Sankalan, for implementation. Under the guidance of Mr. Kiran Vaghela, a prototype was constructed using the Catalan technique and was tested prior to implementing the structure at the river front. The students of Karigarshala along with master artisans of Sankalan constructed the dome.
