Scope • Stabilised Rammed Earth Walls in G+1 Load bearing Structure

The Institute for Studies and Transformation in Sanand, Ahmedabad, designed by Aayam Architects, serves as a comprehensive training center featuring a guesthouse, kitchen, and dining facility. The architectural design incorporates environmentally conscious elements, including in-situ Stabilized Rammed Earth walls and wooden roof understructures. The G+1 load-bearing rammed earth walls, made from stone dust as the raw material, were skillfully constructed by the artisan guild. Additionally, the artisans took charge of preparing and installing the wooden components of the roof understructure, highlighting their expertise and contribution to the overall construction process.
