Residence of Mr. K. D. Mehta at Bhuj

A fusion of Stabilized Rammed Earth, Compressed Stabilized Earth Blocks (CSEB) and modern materials was attempted as a design for the residence by Aayaam Architects, wherein a signature SRE wall of 23 feet height was constructed on the front façade. The boundary wall and few walls in the house provide a glimpses of the fusion between SRE and CSEB. 

Recycled material from stone quarries and waste generated from terracotta tile factories was used to design a mix to construct the SRE walls.
