Eco-Build Techniques

The training program provides a comprehensive introduction to the utilization of Earth/soil as a construction material. Skilled artisans lead practical demonstrations, illustrating stabilized and un-stabilized techniques like Rammed Earth, Adobe, Mud rolls, etc. The program introduces traditional flooring and plaster methods like color oxide floors, mud plaster and lime plaster that enhance earth/soil-based structures. In addition to these aspects, master artisans conduct hands-on sessions focusing on different types of arches. Participants also learn about the construction techniques involved in creating masonry domes.

Do you conduct training programs for longer duration?

Yes, we can conduct training program for longer duration, but the group size required is of minimum 25-30 people.

Can we pay the fees on arrival?

We do not encourage this, except for genuine cases, as we have to plan the training program days according to the number of participants and last minute confirmations are difficult to manage.

Do you provide accommodation during the training program?

No we do not have a staying facility, but we can guide participants on places where they can stay according to group size and budget.

Do you provide transportation facility during the training program

Not always as it depends on the group size and the location of stay.

Who are the faculties conducting the training program?

Our training team is a group of technical professionals and master artisans with 20+ years of experience in the field.

What is the usual timing of a training day?

Usually the training day starts around 9:30am -10:00am and ends by 5:30pm – 6:00pm.

Do you provide food & beverages during the training program?

Yes we provide lunch and tea (twice) during the training program.

Is there a particular dress code during the training program?

No particular dress code but we suggest participants to wear loose and comfortable dresses along with shoes during the hands-on sessions as they have to work.
